Designer Pony

There's a new Fashionista in town.....

With fashion being such a big part of the world we live in, i think it is great when designers give back to the world - I loved the designer Pusey Bear auction for Children in Need a couple of years ago (read more Designer Pudsey ), so I was so excited when I saw the latest fundraising event for Save the Children....designer My little pony!! The event happened in June and i even shared this picture from the event on Facebook as my niece and i share a My Little Pony obsession - not realising the designer ponies were part of it.

Some cute, some wacky, some downright bizarre but all for charity this collection is amazing and raised a lot of money for the cause - with each pony going for around €800.

The two that I would have loved to bid on are the elephant from Missoni (not sure why they chose to change the pony into an elephant!) covered in an archived brand print and a braided mane. Also the one by Emilio Pucci, i love her cute scarf and the printed wings, again in archive prints - a very boho kinda look but actually very subtle compared to some of the others.
