Since it was announced that the American super brand J Crew was coming to London later this year, almost every publication i have picked has some reference to the brand and its creative director Jenna Lyons. Now i have to admit until recently i knew very little about J Crew and the lady at its helm but since the frenzy about its arrival on the UK shore i have been learning more and more - including how much i love J Crew and cannot wait for the Regent store to open.
The most important thing i have learnt is how FABULOUS Jenna Lyons's style is, she is the epitome of chic and i am truly envious of how she can make a pair of jeans and a basic t look stunning! My working wardrobe is waiting in anticipation for some Jenna styling to be added.

Just a few of my favourite Jenna looks below - only included a few as i could have gone mad, this woman has truly amazing style.

On top of her amazing style she shares my obsession and love for shoes.
I found this video in a J Crew interview, in which she shares her love of shoes and showcases some truly beautiful specimens that i feel my wardrobe is missing!

I have always liked Accessorize, with it's mix of unique, everyday and occasion accessories - a something for everyone store as my mum would call it. My earliest memory of this store was buying the craziest pair of multi charm earrings (which i do still own and oddly at the time only wearing one like i was some kind of fashionista pirate!), and always walking around the tiny Cheltenham store lusting over so many items on a Saturday afternoon armed with my pocket money.

Particularly loving the new collection as it seems to be aimed at the younger edgier customer but still very wearable - and the new face of the brand Tamsin Eggerton is a perfect fit for this younger modern take on the season. She seems to support the mix of classic pieces with a quirky twist, and embodies everything that the brand wants to portray to its customers. This synergy comes across in the Lookbook and brand photography - everyday and wearable styling but with the extra little something special.

My favourite look is the casual jeans and tartan shirt layered under the burgundy jumper with the statement necklace - this is a look i want to replicate.

With so many great pieces in the new collection it was hard to narrow down my favourites but below are my top 8 items - something from most departments showing that the brand is not a one trick pony but can create beauty in slippers or phone cases as well as its usual glittering jewellery. My number one piece though is the Delhi Urban oversized necklace and at £25 this is an item that will simply have to be added to my already full collection of statement pieces.

Angora Kitten Beanie Hat £17, Scattered Stone Cocktail Ring £15, Delhi Urban Oversized Necklace £25,
Grumpy Cat Phone Case £10, Heart Print Oversized Clutch £19, Ribbon Cable knit Slippers £20,
Mesh Plait Bracelet £14, Red Leopard print Scarf £17.

On top of my current loves i have already been and done a little shopping in store - only a couple of bits but I couldn't resist the cute animal socks on 3 for £8, besides who doesn't like a cute character hiding in their boots! Also an amazing blanket cape, which has been worn a few times but the removable fur collar has not left my neck as it is the perfect colour and size to wear with all my winter jackets and coats and add that touch of Hollywood glamour to my everyday outfits.

Below is a great video i found on YouTube that helps to capture the excitement behind this new collection and how well received it has been within the fashion industry.

Hopefully Accessorize will continue with this more modern take on accessorising Britain and give us the fun, fashionable pieces within this new collection for many seasons to come.

* Lands' End Shoes - all about print and pattern this season in my footwear.
* "About Time" - the best film i have seen in a while. A true romantic comedy that left me blubbing in the cinema and really appreciating my life and my amazing husband. * Marks and Spencer Leading Ladies post, amazing British women promoting the uber brand's new campaign. * SS14 Fashion week Mulberry invitation, miniature Wedgewood tea set - another British heritage brand, if only i had received one rather than just seeing the photo's online. * My amazing Bianca Calf-hair ballet pumps, beautifully soft and comfortable, a perfect way to wear leopard print in the office.

* Finally managed to find a cute case for my Samsung phone - embracing my inner child with bunny ears and a pompom tail (although Willow is currently looking after the tail). * My new Autumn Winter handbag, breaking from my designer tradition and invested in a Topshop bag in a gorgeous wine shade, my colour of choice for the season. * Love how thick the September Issue of Vogue is, full of great new season articles and a touching interview with the beautiful Alexa Chung. * A snapshot into my winter wardrobe - ASOS leopard print swing dress with my H&M leather jacket, New Look statement necklace with H&M buttoned up shirt, and Dorothy Perkins bright pink dress also with my biker jacket. All three styled with my amazing fur collar, cute cuddly and stylish.

* My bag favourites from the Mulberry Fashion Week show - can feel a trip to Bicester coming on. * My favourite advert shot from the M&S leading ladies campaign - coats on the River Thames. * A forgotten treasure from the depths of my jewellery box - my little owl brooch, vintage Topshop. * Getting my fox on, cute jumper from none other than Sainsburys Tu range and a bargain at just £20. Very impressed with the range in store at the moment * Even managed to find my favourite new season colour in Essie nail polish! Wicked, the perfect shade of burgundy/plum. * The latest new season magazine - Cosmopolitans version of Elle Collections, actually a good collection of catwalk, behind the scenes and how to's.

* River island statement Tribal necklace - made good use of my Elle magazine discount card and bought this bold necklace. * New Topshop blouse, a beautiful print and an interesting cut too with an open slip back. * Forever 21 charm necklace - only £3.50. This store really is the best place for cute pieces at a fantastic price. * New fairy lights from my favourite place - IKEA, i could actually live here it is my guilty pleasure to visit all the showrooms!. * Finally found one!! after giving up hope of ever finding one an Alison Diet Coke bottle and didn't even notice it until i was about to throw it in the bin! * Sample sale bargain, nothing like a shopper with a touch of sparkle.

So that was my September...... can't quite believe it is October already!!
